LuxN (acquired by Zhone), a metro WDM equipment manufacturer, wanted to enter the Asian market.
Our Assignment
PVP’s consultant worked as a virtual employee, maintaining an office within LuxN. He was responsible for business development in Asia and managed a variety of relationships with partners in Asia. He was also responsible for communicating with the senior management team at LuxN.

Result
PVP created four distribution relationships for LuxN in Japan. Two of them made equity investments as strategic partners with LuxN. In addition to the Japanese market, PVP identified a distributor in Korea, and several potential partners in China as well.
